Top Comet ISON watcher calls space rock officially D.O.A

The comet ISON, a comet so bright that could be seen during the day and night for multiple weeks, had just recently died out and broke into millions of fragments. This comet disappointed many viewers, and was suppose to be very bright when Christmas had been arriving. I myself had been looking forward to this, but unfortunately no one will see it now.

RSS Feed Questions

Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?

I subscribed to multiple websites for many reasons, most of the websites i subscribed to dealt with news and many different types because I would like a wide variety of topics ranking from the environment, to criminals, to feel good stories etc, For hobbies, that was just a variety of topics I enjoy and look at on my own time.

Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?

When I searched for the feeds, majority of the websites had them on the bottom, or on its own section on the page making it very easy to look for, some websites however had them in all sorts of places.

Which sites were your favorites?

My favorite websites were found in my hobby folders because they're my own personal preferences and things i tend to look into.

What else can you use RSS feeds for?

RSS feeds could be used as a way to easily organize multiple websites into a single feed, and a quick way to see numerous amounts of topics in a small area.

How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?

I will use RSS feeds for numerous amounts of websites, but currently I use certain websites that don't have RSS feeds such as Youtube, and Reddit, but those use a different way of having all your information to come to you.

Making the World A Better Place

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."

To make the world a better  it starts with us. This was stated by Gandhi himself, a pacifist who tried to spread good influence on the world. I feel this way sometimes, usually after seeing great influences that give a feel good mood. People are amazing, they can perform amazing things, but as I stated previously, we can't rely on them to carry us into a better world. You must set goals for yourself, goals that will not just be used for your personal desire, but ones that will help you and the world. Some are immortalized for these courageous acts, some aren't but as long as it betters the world and we are a selfless people, the future will be a better place.

Typhoon in the Philippians

After hearing about the typhoon in the Philippians, I was shocked how I didn't hear much news about this topic, instead I heard how much people reacted after the incident occurred. After I read about the typhoon that occurred I felt sorrowful about the losses, ranking for material to emotional loses. I hope the Philippians earn a satisfaction that will fill the pain they are experiencing. Hopefully, the people who are deciding to help will succeed in their goals to aid the Philippians.

Invisible

If I were able to become invisible for one day, I would try to commit good deeds with my newly obtained invisibility cloak. I would try to stop crime lords in today world. These would be notorious crime lords known for many crimes varying from human trafficker, drug lords, domestic abuse, animal abuse etc.. These crimes happen everyday and although a great risk can occur for doing this, but a great deed can be done for doing this. I can gather evidence and bring these people to justice for their wrong doings.
With my amazing power, the world would be come better off and safer from these crime lords. After evidence has been gathered, I would secretly and safely dispose this evidence to the police, no trace back to me. This would be considered an anonymous source would give them evidence which might allow them to earn a warrant. I hope this would help many people live and go back to a cheerful life. At the end of the day, I wouldn't be given my fame, but that is fine as long as I know I am one.

10/7 Do Now

If I was a teacher of Wood-Ridge Jr./Sr, High School, I would add a wood working class. I believe wood working would be a great class for our school because it would add a new sense of accomplishment. It would add a feeling such as one you earn in art class. My class would stress measurements and precision as well as making person projects out of materials we say everyday. The class would have to be taken carefully since danger is around every corner, but this will stress the importance of safety and taking certain precautions.
This class would be very enjoyable to many students who may want to practice their work in jobs such as engineering, carpeting, etc. The class will feel like hard work, it would appear messy, and sound like loud machinery. The students will produce products made from wood and wood product only. The students would also demonstrate precision and good taking of measurement. My class would be a hands on class.

During my first year of high school, I am now a freshman and my first period class is
Ms. Garvin's World History course. Ms. Garvin attended Purdue University and is a big fan of Purdue Boilermaker. Ms. Garvin is very energetic and runs in the mornings. She keeps her students awake and make sure people answer in our class, and she is very generous towards late work. Ms. Garvin is hopefully going to be energetic and we'll have a great year.
This year, I expect to learn about the history of our foreign countries. Currently were studying the renaissance from the 1400's and up kicking off right after the Bubonic Plaque. I hope to learn about the renaissance because I heard so much about it, but I really never done my own personal research. I hope to go onto the expansion era and study how our nation formed. Maybe even before the expansion era and what the nation had been.
Ms. Garvin has a grading policy of 40 percent for projects, 40 perfect for tests, 10 percent on homework, and 10 percent on quizzes. I'm interested in the fact that we're going to an art museum later in the year. We are using technology frequently, mostly for presentations, and to check our homework. Our teacher even made us follow her on twitter. I hope to have a good year with Ms. Garvin and that I learn a lot about the world centuries ago.

I believe the topic of mechanics would be very fascinating for our age group. We can branch of into so many subsections into this vast topic such as: aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, engineering, body mechanics, magnetic mechanics, also momentum and speed mechanics. This topic is see everyday and would really question the everyday mind and can be considered very helpful in the future lives of many children and adults. I believe four to five bullets on this this topic is appropriate without getting to technical.

Does it still make sense to buy a laptop?

Have we finally reached the point where we can trade our big, bulky laptops for sleek, modern tablets? (Click here for the original link)

Tablets have taken the world by storm. They run faster then many carry-on laptops, have more battery life, weigh less, they are smaller, and much much more. They have recently come out with a  keyboard for these tablets and cost around the same price of a laptop as well. I for one will not favor tablets over laptops for I use mine for gaming purposes and it works incredibly fast compared to a tablet. I also enjoy not having to use my fingers, I would prefer a mouse. You can also build a computer, this will require little research and could be a fraction of the price of a tablet, keep this in mind.

This will hopefully show more respect from the officers and from the citizens as well.

Time Travel

If I was given the opportunity to travel back in time, I would like to be able to gather the extensive knowledge of the future as well as new technologies back to the earlier days. I would bring good morals and the innovating ideas such as alternative power sources, disaster prevention ideas, and the troubles that may come in the future. I hope this will make us a more technologically advanced race, and not a war driven society. I do realize this will affect everyone in the current world, new rules would be implemented, and the whole dimension theory would be changed. What ever would aid the future for a better society is worth it in my point of view..

Evasi0n iOS jailbreak version 1.1 pops up with bug fixes

The evasi0n jailbreak tool is already up to version 1.1.

The team Evasi0n developed an update update for the jailbreak used on appliances such as the ipad mini and iphone 5. Jailbreak 1.1 fixed crashes and the longer reboot time. Jailbreak is currently very popular with over 3 million users in China, and 2.5 million in the United States. Jailbreak got Apple's attention, putting up a warning daying jailbreaking is a danger in a wake of a recent hacked iOS code. This infuriated the Evasi0n team, especially becuase this statement claimed this before this version of jailbreak had come out. Apple therefore denies any services and warranties they had with the product user if their product has been using jailbreak.
