Does it still make sense to buy a laptop?

Have we finally reached the point where we can trade our big, bulky laptops for sleek, modern tablets? (Click here for the original link)

Tablets have taken the world by storm. They run faster then many carry-on laptops, have more battery life, weigh less, they are smaller, and much much more. They have recently come out with a  keyboard for these tablets and cost around the same price of a laptop as well. I for one will not favor tablets over laptops for I use mine for gaming purposes and it works incredibly fast compared to a tablet. I also enjoy not having to use my fingers, I would prefer a mouse. You can also build a computer, this will require little research and could be a fraction of the price of a tablet, keep this in mind.

Police to wear video cameras on sunglasses

(Original link here)
Chief Richard McLaughlin has been wearing a camera on his sunglasses that shows everything he does on duty. They may start using this camera on all police officers, this will provide certain information on cases that will be extremely valuable. This will also show police brutality to some of the citizens that are abused by officers who abuse their power. This will hopefully show more respect from the officers and from the citizens as well.

Time Travel

If I was given the opportunity to travel back in time, I would like to be able to gather the extensive knowledge of the future as well as new technologies back to the earlier days. I would bring good morals and the innovating ideas such as alternative power sources, disaster prevention ideas, and the troubles that may come in the future. I hope this will make us a more technologically advanced race, and not a war driven society. I do realize this will affect everyone in the current world, new rules would be implemented, and the whole dimension theory would be changed. What ever would aid the future for a better society is worth it in my point of view..
